Fluito
BIRMINGHAM COMMONWEALTH GAMES
Georgia designed a large-scale outdoor public art installation to celebrate aquatics for the Commonwealth Games. The experience invited participants to explore different layers of water; both positive and negative. Georgia used the commission to showcase the agility of elite swimmers both local and international as well as the positive mental impact of being in water while also highlighting the extent of water inequality within Commonwealth countries and devastating ocean pollution.
There is also an AR version for those that couldn't travel to Birmingham to see the installation and was available to all audience members of the aquatics.

“Climate anxiety can leave people feeling overwhelmed rather than inspired to change. The experience of Fluito is playful and memorable and although people do need to alter their behaviours, I wanted to showcase there is beauty in the future and a purpose to changing.’”
