Vita at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show
We were commissioned by the Royal Horticultural Society to create the first-ever digital feature garden for the Tatton Park Flower Show.
The installation celebrated the unseen beauty of nocturnal pollinators, bringing attention to the vital role of moths in gardens and ecosystems. Through projection, soundscape, and immersive set design, the garden explored the impact of light pollution on both human health and nocturnal wildlife, encouraging reflection on our connection with nature.
Visitors experienced a multi-sensory journey, featuring layered soundscapes, live performances, and discussions alongside real moths, creating an emotional and educational engagement. The installation highlighted how humans and moths alike are disoriented by bright white and blue light, while amber and red hues promote wellbeing, health, and even fertility.
VITA demonstrates the studio’s approach of blending art, environmental storytelling, and immersive design to create experiences that are both impactful and thought-provoking, fostering awareness and connection with the natural world.
