Wild Escape for Art Fund and Preloaded
As Art Director, Georgia Tucker designed this project to empower children to creatively explore and express their imagination. The digital artworks reflect a child’s perspective of habitats and ecosystems, as if they were cutting and assembling them by hand, encouraging playful engagement and discovery.
Launching on Earth Day, children were invited to explore and discover nature in museum collections, bringing their chosen creatures to life with their own creativity and following their escape to a thriving ecosystem.
Putting the child’s creativity front and centre, the digital art tool allowed participants to capture and digitise their created creatures, breathe life into them, and release them from institutions across the UK into a shared, biodiverse ecosystem, wandering alongside the creations made by other children.
Through this initiative, Art Fund inspired hundreds of thousands of children to visit museums, interact with the content, and respond creatively to pressing environmental challenges, fostering both curiosity and environmental awareness.
